About the Role
Location: Colombia (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: ~$25,000 USD/year (commensurate with experience)
We're looking for a Senior Webflow Developer to work closely with our team to clean up, optimize, and refine our company website across desktop and mobile. This isn't a from-scratch build — you'll be taking an existing site and elevating it: tightening up design details, improving responsiveness, fixing interaction issues, and making sure everything performs well across devices and browsers.
We need someone who treats Webflow as a craft, not just a tool — someone with a genuine eye for design, obsessive attention to detail, and a track record of shipping clean, polished, responsive, interactive websites.
What You'll Do
- Audit our current Webflow site and identify design, layout, and UX issues across desktop and mobile.
- Clean up existing structure: classes, styles, components, and CMS collections, reducing bloat and inconsistency.
- Refine visual design details — spacing, typography, alignment, hierarchy — to a polished, professional standard.
- Build and improve responsive layouts that hold up cleanly across breakpoints (not just "technically responsive").
- Design and implement interactions and micro-animations (Webflow native interactions) that feel intentional, not gimmicky.
- Optimize page speed and performance (image handling, asset loading, clean code output).
- Fix cross-browser and cross-device inconsistencies.
- Work directly with designer on an ongoing basis — this is a close, iterative collaboration, not a one-off handoff.
- Maintain a clean, organized Webflow project (naming conventions, reusable components, style guide discipline) so the site stays maintainable long-term.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on Webflow experience, with a portfolio that clearly demonstrates strong visual design sense — not just functional builds.
- Deep fluency in Webflow's design and interaction systems: classes/combo classes, CMS, interactions, responsive breakpoints.
- Strong eye for detail — you notice a 2px misalignment or an awkward line-break without being told.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles beyond Webflow's default breakpoints.
- Working knowledge of basic HTML/CSS/JS for custom code embeds when Webflow's native tools aren't enough.
- Experience optimizing for page speed and Core Web Vitals.
- Professional English communication skills, written and spoken — you'll be in regular calls and async communication with the team.
- Comfortable working independently, taking ambiguous feedback ("this feels off, can you fix it?") and translating it into concrete design/dev decisions.
- Based in Colombia, able to work substantially overlapping hours with US Eastern/US timezone.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Figma-to-Webflow handoff.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals as they apply to Webflow builds.
- Experience with Webflow's e-commerce or CMS-heavy builds.
- Prior experience working directly with a founder/small team (fast feedback loops, shifting priorities).
