Role Overview

This is a full-time, remote Junior IT Technician / Web Developer role focused on supporting day‑to‑day IT operations while delivering and maintaining client websites. The position combines frontline IT support with hands‑on web development, playing a key role in enabling business growth and operational scalability.

You will provide first-line technical support to users, troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues, and assist with maintaining internal IT systems. In parallel, you will be responsible for building, updating, and maintaining client websites, ensuring they remain secure, up to date, and aligned with SEO and performance best practices.

This role frees senior leadership (Jeffrey) from routine delivery and support tasks, enabling greater focus on sales, client relationships, and high‑value projects. Without this position, the business cannot realistically scale beyond 5–6 active clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT helpdesk support to end users
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 environments
• Build, update, and maintain client websites using WordPress and Webflow
• Apply SEO fundamentals during website builds and content updates
• Assist with basic Google Ads setup and management support
• Track website performance using Google Analytics
• Deliver clear, friendly user support and basic training where required
• Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff when needed

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Practical experience or strong familiarity with:
• WordPress and Webflow
• IT helpdesk / user support
• Microsoft 365
• SEO fundamentals
• Google Analytics
• Basic Google Ads understanding
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
• Ability to manage multiple small tasks in a fast‑moving environment

Candidate Profile

• Ideal for a recent graduate or early‑career professional with a web and IT support background
• Graduates from ATU, TUS, or SETU are particularly well suited
• Proximity to the Cavan Digital Hub is a strong advantage
• Motivated to grow into a broader IT, web, or digital role over time
