UI/UX Designer at Belownil

About the job

Belownil is a remote-first web design and development agency working across brand, web, and digital for clients in various industries - from local businesses to B2B platforms. We're looking for a designer who can take a limited client brief and turn it into something that looks exceptional and works. Someone who fills in the gaps with good judgment, holds themselves to a high standard without needing someone to define it, and can own a project from the first concept to handoff.

What you'll be doing:

• Take (sometimes incomplete) briefs and define a clear design and content direction from them

• Design full UI/UX for websites and web platforms: layout, hierarchy, interactions, visual identity

• Handle branding work - logos, visual identity, brand systems - when projects call for it

• Make confident, sensible decisions independently when the brief doesn't give you the answer

• Own projects end to end: manage the timeline, flag issues early, don't wait to be chased

• Present and justify design choices to clients and the team clearly and confidently

Requirements:

• A strong portfolio showing exceptional work across UI/UX, web, and branding - this matters more than years of experience

• Strong sense of UI: typography, spacing, hierarchy, visual weight - you know what looks good and notice when something is off

• Ability to design functional UX that serves both the user and the client's business goals

• Comfortable with Figma for design and AI design tool for idea generation / learning / administrative tasks

• Owner mindset - you move fast, generate ideas, iterate, and actually care about the projects you work on

• Fluent in Lithuanian and English

Experience with Webflow or front-end (HTML/CSS) is a strong plus - candidates who have it will be prioritized. Client-facing experience is a bonus too.
